ASG-Cypress Cypress.Web

Cypress.Web is the name given to a set of ActiveX controls that allow you to build custom integrations between ASG-Cypress and other software. Typically, those building the integrations will embed these ActiveX controls into custom web pages. The other software will then be configured to call the web pages and pass the necessary integration data to them.

Cypress.Web consists of four ActiveX controls:

Inbox

This ActiveX control shows any ASG-Cypress inboxes that have been assigned to the user. The user can use this interface to manage the documents in those inboxes.

Query

Use this ActiveX control to search for documents and show the results. This control accepts a search query (formatted in the ASG-Cypress query syntax) from the web page containing the control and shows a list of matching documents. When the user selects a document, the document's preview and properties are shown.

Please note that the query control does not provide an interface for generating a query. It only accepts a query that has been generated elsewhere.

Imaging

The imaging ActiveX control is a core component in the Personal Imaging module. The control is used to scan documents (or import previously scanned documents) into ASG-Cypress. It scans with any TWAIN-compliant scanner, and it can import most major image formats. When embedded into a properly configured web page, the imaging control can also set index values for the document.

Client

This ActiveX control is simply a button that, when clicked, shows the full ASG-Cypress client.
