Configuring Your Own FileZilla

To configure your own copy of FileZilla to use the SGS FTP server, please do the following:

1. Launch FileZilla.
2. In FileZilla, open the Site Manager dialog by choosing "Site Manager..." from the File menu.
   
   
    
3. When the Site Manger dialog appears, click the New Site button.
   
   
    
4. A new site icon will appear under "My Sites". Rename it if desired.
5. Click the new site you created. Enter the following information in the "General" tab:
   • Host: ftp.sgstech.com
   • Port: 2121
   • Server Type: FTPES - FTP over explicit TLS/SSL
   • Logon Type:
     • If you'd like to save your password, choose "Normal".
     • If you'd like to be prompted for a password, choose "Ask for password". The password box will then be disabled.
   • User: (your username)
   • Password: (your password)
   
   
    
6. Click OK to save changes.
7. Choose your new site from the sites menu (the down-pointing arrow next to the "Site Manager" button just under the File menu).
